The amaryllis that I planted at Thanksgiving bloomed just in time for Christmas!

We celebrated Christmas the week before Christmas Day on a much smaller scale than we normally do.
My daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren showed up in style though.

Christmas Eve was quite warm so I went for a long walk around town.
It was beautiful.

ReplyDeletei got my mom an amaryllis and i hear the aides are keeping it going in the nursing home. we haven't seen her in almost a month. but i am grateful for the gentle care she is receiving.
