Philippians 4:11
~
As I type this we still do not know who will be president of the United States come January.
It seems our country is very closely divided.
Some will say this one cheated and others will say that one cheated.
They think that they hold such power...
But I know who is the most powerful of all.
You and I had the same message this week. The verse from Philippians perfectly sums it up!
ReplyDeleteAmen to your words sweet lady. Have a Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeletePraying God's kingdom come and God's will be done in our nation!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture! No matter who in president, God is still and always will be in control.
ReplyDeleteYes, so much up in the air. Today, I was watching leaves fall, one at a time.. No wind. Just gravity and letting go. Your image reminded me of that feeling of peace and awe.
ReplyDeleteOur church read through many of the major and minor prophets this year. Though kings were good or bad, God was always at work. That gives me great encouragement that no matter who our leader is, God's still on His throne.
ReplyDeleteIf it is true, what we read in Isaiah 40, "Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance," then whoever rules that drop is king over a small realm indeed. In our nation no one person is even king, so the power is even tinier.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, HIS Kingdom is not of this world, and is unto to ages of ages. Glory to Jesus Christ!
Yes, whatever the outcome, God is in control! Love this photo!
