1. It's fall y'all. What's something you love about this season and also something you don't?

I love the coziness that Fall brings. I love all the cooking and the earlier evenings when everyone is gathered in. I don’t love getting out of the shower in the mornings...brrrrr.

2. When you think of the colors of fall, which one is your favorite? Is there somewhere you could easily day trip to see the leaves in all their glory? Will you?
Here in New England the colours are amazing! It’s hard to think of just one fall colour. I suppose it would be the blazing orange that the maple leaves turn. We live in Massachusetts and there are plenty of places that will be particularly beautiful. We have to drive to the Berkshires next week so even though it’s an errand we will make the best of it and notice the beauty all around us.

3. What's one thing you've let 'fall' by the wayside during this season of staying home and staying away?
Healthy eating and staying in an exercise routine.

4. If you're wearing a sweater is it most likely a cardigan, crew neck, v-neck, or zip up hoodie?
It’ s probably not a crew-neck but it could be either a cardigan or a zip-up hoodie.

5. What's your secret to dealing with change?
Change doesn’t really bother me. Everything changes...I kind of like it..

6.  Insert your own random thought here.
I love having the window open just a bit while I’m sleeping. There’s something about cuddling  under the covers when it’s just a bit cold in my bedroom that makes me sleep sounder.

  1. You must live in the most gorgeous place in the country to see fall leaf colors. I have always wanted to go to New England in the fall. What ARE these purple flowers in your header?

    1. They are called Globe Amaranth. It’s a bulb that is planted in the fall and it grows on a very tall stem. This picture is a macro/close up image so it’s hard to tell what the flower really looks like. They’re very interesting and pretty. If you ever get out this way one fall day it would be wonderful to meet you in real life.

  2. I really cannot think of anything I don't like about Fall! I guess it is the fact that rodents try to find a place to shelter... either in the house!!! or in things outdoors. I just really appreciate the cool air and bluer skies... the beautiful trees. My mother always wanted to see New England in the Fall. She was such a reader/fan of Gladys Tabor. I love the scarlet color probably most... This year I won't be able to grab my friend and go for long drives or visit the orchard. We are staying in as the virus has really taken an upward surge here. Have fun and enjoy the beauty as you can!
