family Friday

The weather over the weekend was new-englandish

We had quite a bit of rain but between drenching showers it was sunny and warm.

We got out for a walk along the beach and I found a few pieces of driftwood

to bring into my classroom.

Turnabout is fair play so I got a picture of Joe while we walked as well.

Saturday morning I was out on the porch in short sleeves enjoying my coffee.

We went out to dinner to celebrate my birthday a few weeks ago as well.

Abigail was 4 months old on the 17th!

She is smiling and laughing and grabbing at all her favourite toys now.

I moved into a new classroom at work.

I did the entire move myself while my co-teacher was at a different center.

Wow! I was so tired when I got home.

We've been in there a few weeks now and it's so wonderful!

It's one of only two rooms with windows to the outside.

Joe walked Jack up the stairs to the train station

and I took some pictures of the wall art in Lynn.

I've got to get out there with my Nikon and get some better shots.

  1. Oh my gosh!!! Our oldest daughter Courtney is a 2015 Gordon College graduate. You must know Gordon since you live so near. She and a brunch of other art majors did some kind of internship in the Lynn schools and they did art there. I'll have to show her this mural and see if it she the one!!

    Happy belated birthday.

    Congrats on the new classroom.

    Happy Easter!!

  3. I love seeing pictures of you and Joe. What a nice surprise! A belated Happy Birthday. You look just the same as you did all those years ago as Hip Chick. I don't know how you do it! You teach elementary school, what grade? The mural is really joyful, reminds me of the 60's.

  6. We warmed into the 80's but only for a couple days and not back into the 40's during day and 30's at night and drenched with rain here in Ohio. I'm so ready for Ma Nature to quit changing her mind. Love your coffee cup and the vision of coffee out on the porch. I have my chairs and table ready..:) Happy Easter.
