Christmas trees are everywhere!

My mum and I went to the Isabella Stewart Gardener museum on Saturday.
It was all decked out for the holidays with Amaryllis and poinsettia.
There was a harpist playing in the courtyard
we could hear the music through out all of the rooms.
It was just beautiful.
Afterward we stopped into the Copley Plaza hotel for brunch.
It was also all decked out for the holidays and looked so pretty.

I met my husband at Government Center the other night after work.
I just love seeing the city all lit up with Christmas lights.

Every year the lowlands parking lot is the setting for the PTO's biggest fundraiser.
The Christmas tree stand!
We can see it all from our kitchen windows and from my desk in the dining room.
It's like a Hallmark movie!

This is such a good picture of you and your mom. You seem to not have aged at all since being hip chick all those years ago. I love the pictures, they are subtle yet brilliant. The hotel is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIsabella Stewart Gardener museum sounds lovely. Sounds like you had a great time with your mom!
ReplyDeleteI also love seeing a city dressed up for Christmas. Lovely photos!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely excursion!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a festive week! We were in Boston on Black Friday late afternoon and evening and VERY disappointed that the Gardens weren't decorated yet. :( But we love Boston so any time spent there is special to us. Sheer Madness (i wrote about it last week's FFF) was BRILLIANT. We're so happy we finally got to see it. Did you know it started years ago about a 45 min drive north of where I live in NY? it first opened in Lake George, which is the first stop in the Adirondacks for most out of state tourists.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!!
Nice pictures. The day out with your Mum sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many different ways to decorate for Christmas--all of them beautiful! I love it when you share the sights from your days.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful sights! I think lights are my favorite part of Christmas decorations.
ReplyDeleteI love your traditions! Treasure each celebration with your mom!
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the decorations show the joy and fun.
I love the lights of Christmas and the public displays too!
