Keeping Sabbath

I am sure I shall see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living.

Psalm 27:13

A very dear and old friend of the family

lost her 12 year old daughter yesterday.

She was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor about 2 years ago.

When I looked at verse of the day this is what came up.

It's too sad for words but God hears our groans and feels our tears.

  1. So great a loss. There are no words except to let you know that you'll remain on my heart throughout this day ... and beyond.

  2. I have been praying for the family! It seems so senseless for a child to die.

  4. It's so hard to cling to those promises of goodness when we are mourning a loss. You are wise to keep Truth nearby so that your eyes see it and can remind your heart.

  6. Our Heavenly Father, you know the child that you entered into your arms and heaven and her family. I pray you give all those that were near and dear to her the peace that only you can give to those who knew and loved her so much. Wrap your arms around this family and all friends and help them at their time of loss. In the name of your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
So sorry for your loss. Too sad for words to lose a child.

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
