16 March
We got a chance to bring Joey to his hockey game on Sunday morning.
It's always fun to watch him play even though it's freezing cold!
Tuesday we had another nor'easter come through...
this one brought about 18 inches of snow!
In March!
I stayed home from work and made corned beef and cabbage
with Irish tea.
Joe and I absolutely love this jam.
We spread it on nice crusty toast or we pour some over vanilla ice cream.
So yummy.
I had to go to a 7:30 service on Sunday morning
because Joey's game was at 9:30.
I will be going on again this Sunday as well!
It feels nice to be back at church.
How wonderful that you have made it to church in spite of the weather. Gosh, you have been having brutal weather. But your snow photo is really gorgeous. And a wonderful blessing. Blessings to you, as well.
ReplyDeletelOVE YOUR iRISH BLESSING....MAY God hold you in His hand
ReplyDeleteSo glad you can get to church ... and that it was OK to stay home from work ... Happy St. Patty's to you - we will be going out tomorrow night to celebrate!

WOW! YOur church has a 7:30 service???!! And here I thought 9 a.m. was early! I love my church and thank the Lord we have online service now livestreamed so if we are snowed in or not feeling great we can watch it online...a true blessing! There's nothing like going in though to be with other Believers. Glad you are back!! Which church do you attend?
ReplyDeleteHow fun to go to your son's hockey game. BRRR....you all had so much snow! we here in eastern NY got the tail of your nor easter and thankfully only got about 4 inches of the white stuff. I"m so over it.
ENJOY the day and Happy st Patrick's Day!!
My corned beef is simmering even now! 18 inches of snow - wow. I hope spring comes soon. I have never attended a hockey game in person - must be fun, especially if someone you love is playing. I love to hear that you are back in church. It has been a blessing to me ever since I first started going when I became a Christian.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit today. :-) Cheers to you on this gorgeous day.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is TOO MUCH snow! I hope you don't get hit again with another storm.
ReplyDeleteChurch is always a blessing to me--I'm glad you've been able to attend.
And Happy St. Patrick's Day (yesterday). It was my birthday so I'm late visiting--that's my excuse.
