thursday morning at the bus stop

bunnies in the clover

Monday I was on the shores of Lake Champlane at the In-bloom conference

It was held at Shelburne Farms which is absolutely stunning and beautiful.

It was about getting pre-schoolers out into the woods and the natural world.

Two of my very favorite things....children and outside!

Happy Headphones....

even the headphones were happy when the boys put them down and went outside to play!

Daisies in the dune grass

Last year the town planted lots of dune grass along the beach side.

This year there are daisies interspersed.

So pretty.

The sunsets this past week or so have been spectacular.

I sit on the porch with a cup of tea or a glass of wine at end of day

and watch the evening settle in.

  3. I love your photos! Daisies, seagulls, sunsets. It's a beautiful place where you live.
That sounds like a great conference. I agree that children should be outside as much as possible and the wilder the place, the better.

  4. What a gorgeous sunset. All your pictures are so nice! We have bunnies come into our yard to feast on the clover, too. I haven't quite figured out where they live, but they're regulars. It's like having pets without having to clean up after them. :-) Love the happy headphones!

  9. This is my first visit to your blog. I found you through Friday Five Faves. It is beautiful and peaceful here, just as I'm sure it is on your front porch.

What a gorgeous view you have. I was in your neck of the woods (New England) only once, and that was back in 2003. We were visiting family in southern New Hampshire, so we made a couple treks down to Boston and a trip up to the Maine coast. How beautiful your part of the country is.

  10. Cute Wabbit, great Gulls. The headphones really do look like a smiling face. The sunset is so beautiful, we had an amazing one the other day too but I haven't posted the photos yet. Keeping it for next week's Skywatch Friday. Have a great weekend
