starfish and snowfall

of a morning after a snowfall

it is enough of an adventure

to gaze out of the window

sunlight glistening off the blue ocean

tea kettle whistles its morning tune

singing of starfish and snow flakes

~

I have been doing some serious job hunting and I have a few things in the works

Yay!!!

~

I am going to visit my sister with my mum for the weekend.

She lives the next state over and my mum just can't do the drive anymore

Honestly, I'd rather stay home but I think I will enjoy myself when I get there.

~

We are a wee bit more than half-way through winter!

~

We have a full tank of oil and will be cozy warm through this next cold spell

  12. My husband lost his job last summer, so we're in the same boat as you. Thankfully, we are in a good place at the moment with no outstanding debts. But, we need a job to open very soon or else we'll have to look outside our area for work. God will see us through the storm. I enjoyed your lovely picture and poem this Skywatch Friday. The best of luck to you with your job search. Feel free to pop in on Curious as a Cathy anytime!
