Icelandic nasturtiums

in Bonnie's garden

Sunday I paid a visit to my youngest daughter

She wanted me to photograph her garden

which I was happy to do

Saturday night was the ball

I was not a participant this year (maybe next year)

but they allowed viewers into the balcony to watch

it was spectacular and so much more fun than I thought it would be

earlier in the week both of my daughters and my mum

came over for an impromptu get-together

we had the boys with us as well.

Some of us jumped off the wharf.

delicious apple-zucchini bread slathered with fresh butter

and Irish tea

for a breakfast

  1. The ball looks so fun. I have been reading Austen's books (as you know) and my imagination has been caught by these events. I didn't realize such things still occurred - probably don't in CA. How fun that you could be an observer.

And I am still intrigued by wharf jumping.

Love the photo of your daughter's nasturtiums.

  2. Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your post seem to
be running off the screen in Chrome. I'm not sure if this
is a formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought
I'd post to let you know. The style and design look great though!

Hope you get the problem solved soon. Many thanks
