in the night - when you're all alone

with the one - that you call your own

we spotted the chair in the back of the tiny yard sale

with a bright orange circular sticker that said

$2

and i put it in the back of the LOVE Subaru

 carried it through the back door

past the daffodils blooming

to a sunny spot in our kitchen

something about that chair in the kitchen

it sings an old Ten Years After song

and quotes the bible at me

while I'm cooking 

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine

and

 sing unto the Lord all the earth
 ...

 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; 

let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
 
 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: 

then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

and so we keep a happy home

and give ourselves some positive vibrations
