~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
we two are a rippled oyster shell
two parts
two valves
hinged together
an exoskeleton
often found in saltwater
protecting a cherished center
because we two are a rippled oyster shell
a pearl
nesting in a teary sea
