lights

on a tree

magical to see

in a world filled with

strife it's still a wonderful life

we have wills that are free hang lights

on the trees and the world fills with peace

the snow gently falls and true love conquers all

  6. I agree that lights often convey a feeling of peace. "the snow gently falls and true love conquers all / peace" - beautiful closing line!

  7. The lights on a tree are indeed a wonderful reminder of the wonders of life which are there if we only look around.

(Consider posting this at dVerse Poetics as well. It would fit the prompt - 'lights.'

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
