through the window
Every day he picks up the same passengers, drives the same route through the dirty city.
Every morning he stops his bus in front of her house at 6:15.
He thinks it would be nice to leave the city - move
the kids out here. He waits 5 minutes. She never sees anyone get on.

I like suspense that builds within after the last line of reading. Quite visual!
