after giving considerable thought to
exactly what i would do if i stumbled upon a million dollars
i came to the conclusion that
while it can buy some sorts of security
money can't buy love
or happiness
so i would use it toward the end of spending time with my loved ones
because that's priceless
and when you think about it
a million dollars just doesn't go as far as it used to
Yes. And true. And love the heart shaped rock as a symbol of this thought!!
ReplyDeleteIt's the same with our Euro ! Love this stone is really very pretty !
ReplyDeletea beautiful thought, my mind works in the same way!! we are savers, planners....not much would change!!
ReplyDeletepretty rock/stone!! debbie
What a great heart-shaped stone you have here...and beautiful sentiments to go along with it. There are some things that even money can't buy, and it's priceless to recognize that fact :). Thanks for joining in on Song-ography.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! The perfect stone for the thoughts too!!
ReplyDeleteSo true! I remember as a child in the 80s, a million dollars was super impressive. Now, it isn't so much...though I wouldn't turn it down either. It certainly doesn't buy the freedom it once would. I love the stone. It reminds me of a fox!
ReplyDeleteI like the pink heart-shaped stone, and the thoughts. Thanks for the visit!
ReplyDeleteI agree! What a beautiful stone. The colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWise words. What a cool looking stone.
ReplyDeleteI love the stone and you definitely have your priorities in the right place...Family time is priceless..
ReplyDeleteThat is right! What is money after all. Time and effort chasing it is a bother anyway! If it falls on one's lap give it away but retain some. He he! Nicely aspiritofsimplicity!
ReplyDeleteHank
