on this day
All Soul’s day was 2 November and my husband and I went to a remembrance Mass.
We took home a candle with my mother’s name on it.
It was terribly sad but I am so grateful that I was able to pray for my mother.

I purchased a lap top because the iPad I’ve been using just isn’t cutting it for work.
I haven’t had a chance to set it all up yet so I’m still using my iPad but I plan on spending some time on it this weekend.

The weather has been getting cooler and we set the clocks back tomorrow.
I know I’m in the minority but I love this time of year.
Ahaha i had to laugh at your comment about the boat...i don't live in a sea town obviously as I'm between the Berkshires of MA and the NYS Adks but believe it or not i got stuck on the highway one morning behind a very slow truck hauling a big boat back from Lake George. Yup.....happens here too!!
ReplyDeletePraying for our loved ones is special for sure i don't pray for my mom now that she's in heaven with the Lord but i do pray often and give thanks for the memories.
Love the tee shirt!!! I saw something similar for me that said it's a good day to teach special children. I didn't end up buying it though......
Enjoy the weekend!
I love the T-Shirt, it is so perfect for your job! the church photo is beautiful. I am glad you got to go, yet so sorry for your sorrow.
ReplyDeleteI love this time of year, too--I love the space between the heat of summer and cold of winter. That is a cute shirt! My daughter-in-law calls her son a tiny human.. Hope the computer set-up goes well.
ReplyDeleteCute t-shirt!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry the mass was sad for you, but it must have been comforting to pray for her.
Yes, only in a sea coast city would you have that big boat (although we have a very popular lake nearby and there are many boats being towed, just not that large.)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I love this time of year. But not the time change! That t-shirt is cute. Grief is such a hard and fluctuating thing. I can understand the sadness the service would bring as you miss your mom.
