armistice day

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month

the end of world war one is marked and set aside as Armistice Day.

Today we call it Veteran's day.

I am thankful for all those who gave their lives to protect their country and their loved ones.

Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "write this,

blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on."

"Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labour for their deed will follow them."

Revelation 14:13

  2. Such an important day to remember. My small school district had a program today for the veterans in our community. Thank you for linking up and have a great weekend.

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
