What’s the story

 Morning glory

One day last spring I planted morning glories for my mum in the street side garden beds.

Then, one day at the end of June she passed away unexpectedly. She was 86 .

For the past two years she lived in the first floor apartment

and my husband and I lived on the second floor.

Did you know that morning glories got their name because they bloom for one morning…

by early evening they are gone.

I’m so thankful for the chance to spend so much time with my mum these past two years.

I’m so thankful for the morning glories.

I’m so thankful for my mum.

Thankful Thursday

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
