Natalie Faith

I have a beautiful granddaughter who was born on Monday morning.

I am so very thankful for her.

Her name is Natalie Faith.

Because of COVID I couldn’t go to the hospital. My plan is to bring my mum to see her tomorrow.

I bought this large candle last year and only lit it for the first time this week.

It smells like peonies and the melted wax looks like a flower. It’s so pretty.

I made this activity for my toddlers at work and they really liked it! Bubble wrap inside a zip-lock bag with primary coloured paint. Red and blue for purple, yellow and blue for green, and yellow and red for orange. I taped up the opening quite tightly!

We finally got some snow. It wasn’t very much but it looked pretty

against all the old homes as I drove to work.

I picked up the prettiest  potted mini daffodils at the market the other day.

They were so pretty I picked up a pot for my mum as well.

Natalie Faith was born with a low birth weight. She also had to go under the bilirubin lights for 24 hours.

She seems to be nursing well (every 3 hours) but if you are inclined I would ask for your prayers for her

And for my daughter. She has a 4 year old and a 2 year old and will be very busy.

I would be very thankful.

  1. Of course I will pray for her! I am the Prayer Lady at church, I manage our prayer line. Little Natalie is adorable! And I am glad there is a hand in the photo, so I can get an idea of her size. Keep us posted on how she is doing. Will her mom have any help? Does her dad work from home? I adore the blue house with the white picket fence! I bet the kids were overjoyed with the caft! And where did you find this candle?

Yay for newborns....but wow....yup, mama will have her hands full. Does the 4 year old go to preschool? that would help! :) Love the craft idea...we do something similar for our students with sensory issues. So fun!
    stay warm this weekend!

  6. Congratulations on your new granddaughter. she's gorgeous. I hope she's home by now and continuing to do well with her feeding. Yes your daughter will be busy - my elder two were not quite 2 & 4 when my youngest was born and it was hectic. I was lucky to have my Mum nearby who helped us a lot.

I love that photo of the snow topped tree and the blue house in the background. It makes me want to repaint my house that color!

  9. What a precious baby girl! Congratulations to your whole family! I will pray for her and for Mom too. I've never smelt a peony candle before. I'm still burning my favorite from the winter scents. Snow does make things lovely looking!
