A Christmas star
I set up our Christmas tree during the Thanksgiving weekend.
It’ so pretty.
Tucker approves of the Christmas lights in his favourite window.
I saw my grandchildren last weekend as well.
I happened to glance out of the living room window one morning and was treated to the most beautiful sunrise.
In these darkest days of the year it’s nice to see some light.
Just around the corner is the Marblehead Boat Yard and every year, at Christmas time, they put a giant star up on top of their crane. I came home from work a few days ago to see it shining high above the harbor.
It’s sort of reassuring in these times.

ReplyDeleteHave a lovely first weekend of December with lots of good rest.
Your grands are so sweet! There's a place around here where they've put a Christmas tree atop a large crane for years. It sparks a little bit of delight every time I see it.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is beautiful! Your cat is so cute and such a nice picture of him in the window! Of course your grandchildren are adorable! I would love to be able to see that star out of my window every night. Something about it just gives hope, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of Tucker in the window. It looks like a Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is lovely. And like everything you do, it is so elegant. I can sure see how this star would be reassuring. I love the pic of kitty in the window. I bet your grandchildren are so looking forward to Christmas, they are at the age when it is so exciting!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Enjoy your weekend
