The sea

I will not be commanded
I will not be controlled
I will not let my future go on
Without the help of my soul.

Gregg Holden

He was inspired to write this song, The Lost Boy, when he saw Sudanese refugee children.

I was listening to it on my playlist when I stopped to take a rest while walking along the shore line.

It made me think of how fishermen scratch out a living on the sea.

  1. Nice photo of the boats, and such a nice place to live that you can walk there. Beautiful views.

  4. Yes, yes, our shoreline walks are a time of needed solitude and deep reflection. How blessed we are to be able to call this place home ...

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
