So we do not lose heart

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us
an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen.
For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

  1. Beautiful photo as I always find the beach to be a peaceful sight. May we keep looking to Him so that we do not lose heart in the trying days. May He keep you and your safe! Blessings!

  2. How many times have I come through a hard time that I thought was going to last forever, and then realized, in hindsight: it was light and momentary, after all. Trusting that will be the case with Covid-19.
I'm having a hard time with the linky tool today, so will come back and try again later.

  3. I need to see the sea. It puts things in perspective for me. It reminds me of the truth of the scripture you posted and of the One Who created us all and is still in control of all.

  4. I have found many times in my long years that this scripture is very true. At the worst points, it did end that he doesn't give more than we can endure although it surely seems it; especially lately with losses, but I can only remember to hang on to his word for comfort. Great reminder scripture. Hope all is well with your family.

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
