Apparently spring Crocus are not much for social distancing

And are popping up in large groups all over town.

An giant old Sycamore Maple in Fort Sewell was hit by lightening last summer.

Just this week they took what was left of it down.

It had stood at the edge of the Atlantic for around 150 years!

All things must pass.

I’m not sure when this bench at Crocker park was painted but it’s so fun.

  1. Oh, those little purple flowers. Crocuses are such a welcome sign of warmer temperatures to come. No wonder they pop up in crowds!

  2. We don't have crocuses yet, but the snow drops have made their appearance.
Love the new look at the top of your site.

Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
