be bop a lula

If there is a point to any of this

it is that we are here to love.

I somehow heard a wonderful John Lennon song a few weeks ago

which led me stumbling through various Itunes, youtube and

other places to find more rare Lennon recordings.

I ended up buying John Lennon Anthology 1998.

It was impossible to get on line so I had to buy it in it's

original 4 volume CD boxed set.

Joe and I have been listening to it all weekend.

And, it's got all kinds of Lennon's drawings in it.

It's mad-groovy-cool.

  6. I remember that Lennon went to art school. And he even wrote a book called A Spaniard In The Works. Which I bought! He really knew how to use words in such a quirky and original way.

Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
