be bop a lula
If there is a point to any of this
it is that we are here to love.
be bop a lula
she's my baby
be bop a lula
don't mean maybe
be bop a lula
she's my baby now

Coffee on the porch weather
sipping real slow on a Saturday...
watching the people go by
watching the sun come up over the beach
no particular place to go

I somehow heard a wonderful John Lennon song a few weeks ago
which led me stumbling through various Itunes, youtube and
other places to find more rare Lennon recordings.
I ended up buying John Lennon Anthology 1998.
It was impossible to get on line so I had to buy it in it's
original 4 volume CD boxed set.
Joe and I have been listening to it all weekend.
And, it's got all kinds of Lennon's drawings in it.
It's mad-groovy-cool.
What a great musical moment you've shared here!
ReplyDeleteSo happy that you had a good weekend together with John.

ReplyDeleteYay for John Lennon!!!! ❤️
ReplyDeleteI remember that Lennon went to art school. And he even wrote a book called A Spaniard In The Works. Which I bought! He really knew how to use words in such a quirky and original way.
ReplyDeleteWhat the world needs now, is love, sweet love … Ain't it the truth? Your straightforward post is refreshing! So glad to see you back at Mosaic Monday!
ReplyDeletePeace and love! And music and poetry! That is point enough. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your post. I'm smiling, feeling at peace. Loved, I know I am. I'll check out the Lennon anthology, which I think the Husband might like for his birthday. :-)
ReplyDeleteI heard about Julian Lennon's Children's book, Love The Earth. I want to get it sometime. Maybe you'd like it as well.
