My daughters and my late step-daughter, Ashley.

She died 3 years ago on 28 February.

the good

My daughter, Hannah, came over after work this week.

I don't get to see her very often.

We picked up some chicken fingers and french fries for dinner

because I got stuck in this

the fun...not

I take the T home from work in Boston.

Just as I was getting to the train station after work

they shut it down and evacuated due to a smoke condition.

I tried calling an Uber but they couldn't get through the maze of 15 fire trucks.

So....I normally get home around 4:30 but that day I didn't get home till 6:00!

  2. I am so sorry for the loss of your step-daughter. She was a beautiful girl, as are your daughters. Chicken and French fries sounds like a great meal after getting home 90 minutes late!

  6. I am so sorry about Ashley. So young and beautiful. What happened to her; is this why you stopped blogging on Cool Chick?

  7. The downside to public transportation, bummer. A visit from a favorite person, hurrah. :-)

  8. Your daughter is beautiful! And that is one large cat … our two would never tolerate being held like that …. Sorry to hear about your step-daughter - it rarely gets easier with time … I am grateful that you joined Mosaic Monday this week - please come again!
