Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,

for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away

and the sea was no more.

Revelation 21:1

  1. I'm so intrigued by this "new earth" that has been promised with its sea-less beauty (which I wonder about) and the glory of God on display 24/7. We're so prone to speak and think of heaven as the final destination.

  2. Revelation is one of the hardest books for me to read and understand, but this simple verse is beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

  3. I love our Earth, but a new Earth with Heaven ~ how awesome. With no strife, no anger, no hunger, just pleasantness. A hopeful scripture for this Sunday morning.
I'm assuming your daughter, and she's lovely. :)

  4. I've always wondered about this verse because I can't imagine a world without the sea in it! I trust, however, that the Creator Who made all this beauty can be trusted when He makes all things new.
