Family Friday

We had my in-laws visiting over the weekend.

My father-in-law treated us all to dinner on Monday night

and even invited my mum.

Joe's mum is on the left and mine is on the right.

I placed a woolen quilt on the bottom of our bed

and Tucker has made it his new favorite place for napping.

Well, one of them anyway. He's got a few little napping spots around the house.

I secretly wish I could nap as often as he does.

Saturday my mum and I went up to visit Bonnie and Dan and the kids.

My daughter, Hannah was there as well.

We were celebrating Bonnie's birthday which was Monday.

Verne absolutely loved the candy cake I got.

We had to pry him away from it and he was not happy.

Little miss Abigail Rose has her days and nights mixed up.

We were given all kinds of permission to wake her up

because they are trying to get her to sleep a bit longer at night.

At only just 3 weeks old she's still pretty sleepy though.

I had to be quick to get this photo of her eyes open.

Joe and I stopped at the fish market on Sunday and picked up some fresh Cod.

I cooked it simple with lemon, dill and a dusting of bread crumbs.

We got the table set in the kitchen and sat down with his parents

for a lovely and intimate dinner.
