seeking Sabbath
During the cooler months when I come home in the early evening
I can see my house as I drive over the causeway onto this rather tiny sort-of an island.
The sun is setting over the Atlantic and it's majestic light
reflects in the windows of my living room.
When I get inside I light a scented candle
set out to watch the gloaming
and the evening settling in.
t
let your light so shine before men
that they may see your good works
and glorify your father, which is in heaven.

We have a very rainy Sat here too in eastern NY but I'm cozy with my fuzzy slipper socks, a steaming mug of maple coffee and my Apple Cinnamon Candle. OH and I baked Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffins for "dessert" tonight while we watch the red sox beat the Dodgers (we PRAY!!). :)
