Grandchildren are the crown of the aged
~
and parents are the pride of their children.
Verne is learning to say my name!!
Oh my heart!
I suppose if I was Nana he would have said it already
but I chose to be Hopi and so he says "Ho-hu"
Which just about melts every little part of me into a puddle at his sweet little feet.
Speaking of puddles..
We went to the playground
and Verne found himself a mud puddle to splash around in.
He loved going down the slides and climbing up and down the stairs.
...Christopher Robin woke up the next day
the sneezles had vanished away
and the look in his eye
seemed to say to the sky
now how to amuse them today...
He is so big!!
ReplyDeleteHow precious! I love when their hair sticks up in back...I'm partial to boys! Sweet hugs, Diane

What an adorable post! He's such a handsome young man! And such a a grand time you had! Happy week to you!
ReplyDeleteHe is just gorgeous!! Learning our name is so special when we have grandchildren. Oh, those blue eyes! I hope you get to see him often.
ReplyDeleteThese are precious pictures of your grandson. I have a new grandbaby, and she warms my heart as well. There's just something about kids wanting to jump in a big puddle of water...or mud. : )

How gorgeous is Verne! He's going to be a heartbreaker for sure and he's already melted yours. How lucky you are to have him "amuse you", great WTP quote.
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing Verne to MM this week.
Mud and little boys were meant to go together. He is a heartbreaker now, and will be in the future (in the best way!) I am glad you chose a grandma name that meant something to you, even if it might be hard to say at first!
