Spring is in the air

the good

Saturday night we had snow but Sunday morning we had melting temps.

It was bright and sunny and absolutely beautiful.

I had windows open it was so nice.

And everything felt like Spring...even though there was snow on the ground.

I made sweet potatoes, Swiss chard, roasted asparagus and cauliflower, and lamb chops

for a  (almost) Spring Sunday dinner.

the fun

I went up to see Bonnie, Dan and Verne on Saturday.

They treated me to lunch at Park Lunch.

He's learned how to drink out of a straw.

the random

The warmer weather has me ever so desperate for Spring.

I wish the crocus were blooming now.

Monday: chicken breast, acorn squash, snow peas
Tuesday: kielbasa, cabbage, sweet potatoes
Wednesday: Beef and broccoli
Thursday: pork roast in the crock pot
Friday: out to dinner

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
