Y is for...Year
I love you
Joe and I got married on 2 May, 2016.
At the Town Hall on this rather tiny sort of an island where we live.
still laughing
I walked the beach one summer's day while Joe and the boys climbed a cliff
They waved to me from the top
It looked like the YMCA song
winter wonderland
We didn't have a lot of snow in 2016
but we did have some beautiful sunsets
I was inspired
I went to the In Bloom Conference
over the summer. It was held at the Antioch university campus
in Shelburne, Vermont, on the shores of Lake Champlain.
I was inspired to be a better teacher.
In March I started working at a new job
teaching toddlers at Bright Horizons at Beacon Hill.
I absolutely love it.
spring fever
I happened upon some toadstools growing
along the forest path
I stopped and made a fairy castle wonderland.
We went to a family reunion in June
and stayed in a great old air B & B.

autumn harvest
I walked Beacon Hill during my lunch break
every day during the Autumn this year.
It was so pretty.
let's do it again
I went to Shakespeare in the park
with my beautiful daughter, Hannah.
I want to make it a yearly tradition.
beautiful
My daughter Hannah when we went to see King Lear.
She looked like she could have been one of the actors.

holidays
I picked out our Christmas tree
myself this year. I got exactly the one I wanted and it looked really pretty.
don't ever change
Did I mention that Joe and I got married in May?
Our love for one another will never change.
just because
We got a cat at the end of September!

These past few years seem to have been filled with quite a bit of loss.
My hopes and dreams for 2017 is that it will be a year
filled with joy and peace.
Wishing you and your family a very happy New Year. Great photos!
