21 October
The bittersweet vine is so pretty at this time of year.
It's very invasive but I love the orange and red berries
and the green leaves which turn to such a pretty yellow.
It wouldn't feel like Autumn without a bit of bittersweet
berries to decorate the house with.
I got to spend some time with Verne and his mama.
He and I chatted while his mama took a nice long shower.
He told me stories about sucky things and warm milk.
It's not always easy being one week old and sometimes it helps
to have a Nana you can tell your troubles to.
The weather was sunny and warm, which is quite unusual for October.
We sat in the backyard for a bit so my daughter could get some fresh air
and Verne had his first little picnic lunch.
A sweet (not bittersweet) post. Nothing like cuddling with a baby and I'm sure his mom enjoyed the wee break.
ReplyDeleteHappy days to you, grandma!

So precious and so expressive at such a young age.

The bittersweet vine is lovely. I've never seen it before.
