What I'm doing today
so I've been watching the boys at the wharf
they play wall-ball and rag-tag
and generally rule the universe
in the way that kids do at the end of summer days.
Candid
my beautiful daughter, Hannah.
It's very difficult to catch a candid shot of her...
She had just jumped off the wharf and was watching
one of the boys do something silly
I could have used this picture for natural light as well

foggy sunrise
Your people pictures are wonderful. Yes, Hannah is beautiful and she looks so pensive in the portrait.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Love the sunset, pretty.
Have a great day!
That truly is a lovely candid photo of your daughter!
ReplyDeleteThat shot of your daughter is just breathtaking - truly. I have one who, from an early age, was so aware of everything going on around her....and on to all my camera ways....that catching a true candid of her is nearly impossible. I love the light in the shot and the peace in her expression!
ReplyDeleteReally lovely photos indeed. Greetings to you!
ReplyDeleteVery nice photographs. You capture people and light very nicely. I love the "Deep peace" blessing. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteDelightful photos from a summer weekend.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your shots. Sunset inside the living room is cool. In your world kids rule the universe. In mine, it's a 19 pound terrier! Nice to be back.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos...love the foggy sunrise.
ReplyDeleteI like the light in your images :)
ReplyDeleteThat foggy sunrise is fantastic as is the candid shot of your daughter.
ReplyDeleteyour blog makes my heart smile.
