~ 1 ~

I met my mother for breakfast the other morning

and we spent some time at the town landing

watching the harbor

~ 2 ~

The boys and I had a huge squirt gun fight in the park of an afternoon

I suppose you might say that Joey lost because he was the wettest of us all

I'm sure he considered himself the winner though

~ 3 ~

We watched JAWS on Wednesday night.

One of my favorite movies of all times.

I watch it almost every year about this time.

~ 4 ~

Every year, on the last day of school, we walk the beach in the gloaming

  4. What an absolutely charming site! I'm so glad you came by to say 'hi' this week. And that you're on a tiny island is so compelling, for I am just moving to Cape Cod even as we speak.

May this weekend bring you joy!

  7. Interesting how that boat "dimples" has curved sides ( ) like dimples. Do you think that's how it got it's name?

  8. The harbor visit and the walk in the gloaming sound so peaceful. And how nice to be able to meet with your mom.

So far I have never seen Jaws. :-)

My boys used to love water guns when they were younger.
