tea

I prefer my tea loose over teabags.

I think it tastes better.

Moreover,  I like the process of creating the tea.

Measuring out just the right amount of aromatic and colorful tea

filling the pot with boiling water

and leaving it to steep

~
i am drinking Irish Breakfast

which is my go-to tea

It is late afternoon

a bit late for tea-time

the birds are plentiful at the feeders on the porch

the wild beach roses along the grassy dunes have bloomed overnight

their wonderful aroma is drifting gentle

across the way through my windows

~
let the field be joyful, and all that is therein:

then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

Psalm 96:12

  2. Darn, I just lost my message. Just yesterday I resurrected my tea cozy and made two pots of lemon verbena tea that I purchased from The Tea Source store. Tasted much better than my tea bags. It's hard to resist buying more tea pots, isn't it?!

  3. That is a cute teapot; love the handle! Your little island sounds lovely. I live on an island too and the beach roses are a welcome sight once they appear. I have roses at home here that smell just like them and I am eagerly awaiting their budding. We are waiting for things to warm up here so we can get out to the beach and take our walks. Thank you for joining me for tea and enjoy your day.

    Blessings,

  5. Love the pot! I don't drink tea, I am a hot water addict, but I still like to warm the water in something pretty!

  6. It does taste better, but I always say a cup of tea, no matter how it's served it can cure anything! Especially, tea for two! Everything is best when shared!

I am surrounded by roses too only they grow around a pool. So enjoyed my visit here to your lovely blog and now a new follower too. Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment.

  12. What a cute teapot! I also prefer loose leaf tea, but tend to use teabags at work because they're more convenient.
