tea
I prefer my tea loose over teabags.
I think it tastes better.
Moreover, I like the process of creating the tea.
Measuring out just the right amount of aromatic and colorful tea
filling the pot with boiling water
and leaving it to steep
~
i am drinking Irish Breakfast
which is my go-to tea
It is late afternoon
a bit late for tea-time
the birds are plentiful at the feeders on the porch
the wild beach roses along the grassy dunes have bloomed overnight
their wonderful aroma is drifting gentle
across the way through my windows
~
let the field be joyful, and all that is therein:
then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
Psalm 96:12
Beautiful ...
ReplyDeleteLovely teapot and post. Enjoy and have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteDarn, I just lost my message. Just yesterday I resurrected my tea cozy and made two pots of lemon verbena tea that I purchased from The Tea Source store. Tasted much better than my tea bags. It's hard to resist buying more tea pots, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute teapot; love the handle! Your little island sounds lovely. I live on an island too and the beach roses are a welcome sight once they appear. I have roses at home here that smell just like them and I am eagerly awaiting their budding. We are waiting for things to warm up here so we can get out to the beach and take our walks. Thank you for joining me for tea and enjoy your day.

I love tea............any time.
ReplyDeleteLove the pot! I don't drink tea, I am a hot water addict, but I still like to warm the water in something pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt does taste better, but I always say a cup of tea, no matter how it's served it can cure anything! Especially, tea for two! Everything is best when shared!
ReplyDeleteI love the teapot...not only a lovely shape, but blue and white. I alternate tea bags and loose tea...sometimes I just need to measured peace of brewing. Sounds like an idyllic island...the world around us indeed a gift of His. Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Beautiful and such a peaceful and calm post. I love your teapot and also enjoy Irish Breakfast tea. I can imagine your beach roses are gorgeous and the aroma beautiful. I am surrounded by roses too only they grow around a pool. So enjoyed my visit here to your lovely blog and now a new follower too. Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment.
ReplyDeleteHave a Blessed Day!

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely teapot...and a lovely post!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute teapot! I also prefer loose leaf tea, but tend to use teabags at work because they're more convenient.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful teapot.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried loose leaf tea but now I must try it!
