Nice selections for the prompts. I really liked that Autumn shot. Tea is a comforting drink, especially on a cold day. Such a neat shot of the moon above.
I love fall and winter... but fall is so colorful, and we've been getting so much orange and red this year, which I'm so thankful for. Last year, we barely had many colors. It literally seemed like everything changed overnight and went from green to brown last year. I love Henry David Thoreau! :D I love the new moon above.
Deep peace of the running wave to you. Deep peace of the flowing air to you. Deep peace of the quiet earth to you. Deep peace of the shining stars to you. Deep peace of the gentle night to you. Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter, Bonnie. She brings me so much joy. My first snow day of the year! I work at a Montessori school and we are getting our first big snow storm of the year so.... SNOW DAY!! I made my own hummus last weekend. It was delicious. I added a little bit of turmeric along with the chickpeas, lemon, tahini, and garlic. I plan on eating a more plant based diet this year. It's only been a week and I'm already feeling better. I did eat two slices of mushroom pizza last night and ended up having heartburn so it will be a good long time before I eat dairy again. Each month one of our families brings in a bouquet of flowers. We cut most of the stems off and place them on a tray which we place on the children's table. We place another tray with a very small pitcher and a few very small bud vases. The child fills up the pitcher using water from the bathroom sink, brings it back to the table and pours the water in a bud vase of their choosing. Th

My daughter, Hannah's house is just so pretty. It's a large, Victorian era duplex with beautiful light. Some of the windows have been replaced but there are a few old leaded windows that are old and beautiful and the light is so soft that I am always taking pictures. This is an sweet old table that she picked up in her travels. She put some vintage Christmas ornaments in a terra cotta pot and next to that is a lemon tree plant. The whole thing sits under her kitchen windows. So pretty. My husband and I went to her house on Christmas morning. She served us delicious French toast and mimosas. ~ A friend of mine flew over Marblehead on her way home from vacation and had the wherewithal to take a photo. It made me think of Oh Little Town of Bethlehem. This year I was able to purchase a poinsettia through my church in honor of my mother. It was comforting to know that she was represented during the Christmas Eve Mass. I had a chance to rearrange the living room a little bit. I
