a pear is a sensual fruit. ripe and round and sort of plump almost voluptuous in shape soft, but not too soft beautiful in the light almost dancing on the kitchen windowsill fits nicely in the palm of your hand delicious and slightly fragrant I once had a pear tree growing outside my bedroom window I would lie awake in the moonlight and listen to fat pears  dropping onto the grass below us friday finds

Two paths diverged in a yellow wood And knowing I could not travel both  And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth Robert Frost the wood is littered with yellow leaves from the birches and beach trees bittersweet bursting open yellow leaves with red berries and dappled sunshine on the path mellow yellow monday texture tuesday

a perfect day I was not familiar with this song so I played it on youtube.  it seems, somehow, depressing to me...almost sarcastic.  It is rather sad that he died so young (71...seems younger and younger to me) For me, a perfect day is spending time with the ones I love or a romp on the beach while supper is cooking. song-ography

the good for the past 45 minutes I have been watching the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean  from my living room window. It has been some time since I've seen it. I've been  busy or it's been raining and gray. I had forgotten how beautiful it was. I am not posting a picture....wake up early one day soon and  watch the sun come up from where you are. it is absolutely the most amazing thing. every single morning you can count on that sun breaking forth over the horizon into a new day the random Joe hit a deer at 4:30 this morning driving through the city on his way to work. It's antlers crashed into the driver's side mirror but didn't go through the window. Quite a scare for the both of them but no one was hurt.  the fun The last of the quarry jumping  the good the random the fun
