3 April

this is a small section of one in a series of nine mosaic tiles

which hang along a waterfront walkway and pier.

They were done by a couple of local artists and

depict scenes from the city which

we see from our tiny island.

You can see the traffic coming in from Boston,

the beach people, and the joggers along the parkway.

  1. What fun! I love this. Great colors and story telling.

  2. wow, such details in the tiled work! the artist must be very patient to do this.

  3. Lovely post and photo for 'little things' ~ must be Revere Beach? ~ xoxo

    1. Carol, this is a mural which depicts Kings beach which runs along the shore of Lynn and Swampscott. I live in Nahant, which is a very small Island/peninsula about 2 miles out from Lynn and Swampscott. I look out onto Revere beach from my windows.

  4. I love this! So whimsical, colorful, and fun!

  5. Love it - so bright and cheery!
