24 April

everywhere little things are blossoming now

daffodils are bouncing yellow

along old rock walls

magnolia and dogwood petals

stand pink and white against blue sky

and tiny grape hyacinths blossom

in the woodland gardens

  4. Love the processing! And I love grape hyacinths. Ours are almost done now. My husband {the gardener} wanted to pull them up when they started appearing but I vetoed that.

  5. It's always good for my soul to see those first blooms -- so bright and cheerful after a long winter. Enjoy!

  7. Beautiful. The texture with the faint writing lends an intrigue to these rich-toned flowers.

  8. As always beautiful poetic words. I can just see the Dogwood blossoms in my mind as I read this. Love the Grape Hyacinth too! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
