what is that
there is some debate about what this really is
Joey and I believe it is part of an old pirate ship
that sunk long ago and washed up on the beach
some of us (whose names we won't mention here)
believe it is simply part of an old dock
either way it makes for really cool photography opportunities

When you have something like this, on the beach, it is highly imperative to find a magical sounding reason, for it.... My attitude, anyway... ,-)
ReplyDeleteHello dear you
ReplyDeleteLovely soft earth colours in the ship. I love the calmness in this photo
The composition is also very good!
Hugs and peace

I must say again, if I already haven't, you live in a lovely location. Wow, to live by that (which I saw in your oldest building post) is totally delightful, and peaceful. The old wreck photo is fun to bring your own story to it too. A ship of many legends.
ReplyDeleteYour birthday cake looks so delicious. The coast guard station is beautiful!

Whoa, (as we Okies say), I love that birthday cake. Somehow I can smell it. Do you have a special camera that does that?
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful building. Lots of photography opportunities there.

ReplyDeleteFantastic pic, hopefully they start blooming outside soon.. Thanks for sharing it with us at Our Beautiful World!
ReplyDeleteI like the picture of the "pirate ship". If it were close to where I live I would find a comfortable chair and pen and paper and sit looking at it until it's "story" emerged! That is an awesome shot of the birthday cake.
ReplyDeleteI like the pirate story the best :) Those mums are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteHope the spring will arrive soon to your place. My favorite is your first picture.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us at "our Beautiful World"
