we two are a rippled oyster shell

two parts

two valves

hinged together

an exoskeleton 

often found in saltwater

protecting a cherished center

because we two are a rippled oyster shell

a pearl
nesting in a teary sea

    lovely oyster. ripples are everywhere but i didn't expect a lovely picture such as this that depicts the theme beautifully.
