listen

in a split second

all that really matters could be clear to you

we shuttle to and fro

we pulverize what it means to love

leaving nothing intact

we preach about following our hearts

but we have no idea what that means

all we really get are levels of echoes

that are never very clear

...and the teensy weensy spider went up the spout again...

ATTEND YOUR LIFE

  1. "we preach about following our hearts
but we have no idea what that means"
If only we would stop long enough to figure out which direction to go!

  2. "Attend your life" and "Listen" bookend wisdom. Let us pause in there and feel what our hearts say separately and together.

  5. So true that we often talk a good line about following our hearts & perhaps many don't even know what it means to do so. Lots to think about here.

  6. Perhaps we never really know what it is that we seek, or what it is that might satisfy our lives totally....

  18. Whether it is the spider or ourselves life is one constant repetition until the final flood washes us away for ever. Who knows how we are measured? Is life a test or a reward? Just try to do no harm.
