August has been an unimaginable month for us.

filled with the company of our family and friends

our beautiful home

our love for each other

we've taken stock of how blessed we are in our lives right now

and we've been filled with joy this summer

many evenings we are out on the porch enjoying a spectacular view of the sunset

playing a little guitar and watching the world go by

this is a view of that

  3. What a lovely late-summer image! I like the way you've made that power pole a vital element of the composition. I'm always trying to get them out of my frame, but you've really used it to good advantage. I'm visiting from Photo-Heart Connection.

  8. Fabulous view. I'm glad you've taken the time to enjoy it, even better with friends. What is it about a sunset that begs to be viewed? They are entrancing and grow more so the older we get.

  10. When you wrote that it's been unimaginable, I worried for a second until I was relieved by your comforting words and activities. How wonderful to appreciate what is around you, even what is ordinary, for it's beauty. :)
